June Stamp Club!

Today was stamp club...really missed you gals that couldn't make it today. Always so much fun to share new techniques, ideas, etc...

This is a pic of the door prize...I made this little paper bag pocket book, to hold card candy. It is made from 1 lunch sack, folded in half, some Real Red ribbon, cardstock is Wild Wasabi, Chocolate Chip, & Real Red. Stamp set is It's All Good! The card candy is pictured in next photo!

This card was designed by a member of my downline, Sarah! I TOTALLY CASED her card, with permission:) , and thank her for sharing. I love it! The double flap card is from a tutorial from Dawn, (link on right) You can find Sarah on her blog for more great ideas. This card uses the Nursery Necessities & Classic Background stamp sets. Inks, Wild Wasabi, Pumpkin Pie, & Brilliant Blue. Cardstock, same. Accessories are ticket corner punch, small star punch, word window punch, & Pumpkin Pie ribbon.

The Fresh Cuts card is a double fold. The technique (very subtle) is wax paper distressing. Stamped image in Stazon, then swiped stamp pad ink on wax paper. You could use a darker the ink if you like a more prominent the distressing. Ingredients include Old Olive, Not Quite Navy, So Saffron, Bashful Blue & Whisper White cardstock. Stazon, So Saffron, Bashful Blue, & Not Quite Navy ink. Accessories: Wide Grosgrain ribbon in Old Olive, & Small Oval Punch. All supplies are Stampin' Up!
Gotta run, thanks for looking!

All about Baby!!!

Just a quick post to share baby items from last week-end. This post is all about baby!!! Have any of you ever seen a diaper cake? I was looking at SplitCoastStampers and saw the cutest diaper cake, so just had to make one for my niece's baby shower. My version is much different than the one I saw...The baby's room will be decorated in zoo animals, so I used the Wild About You stamp set, lots of paper, ribbon, glue dots & sticky strip adhesive!

The cute baby card used the retired Baby Talk stamp set. The paper piecing used some scrapbook paper I had on hand. The little bundle baby comes out of the card...had so much fun with that one!!! On the 2nd card, I uses Year after Year & Hugs & Wishes! The designer paper is from Flowers for You, & ribbon I had in my stash!
Baby cards are so much fun!!! Thanks for looking.

Fresh Cuts stamp set arrived!!!

I love it!!! I just got my new Fresh Cuts stamp set...a brand new stamp set from the upcoming catalog. It is soooo gorgeous. For my card, I used a new Lazer cut 4 x 4 note card for my card base. I inked the background stamp with Regal Rose, then used the Chocolate Chip marker & rubbed it randomly all over the stamp. Then stamped the image on a 4 x 4 sheet of Whisper White. I layered it behind the lazer cut flower on the front of the note cards. I stamped the small flower, again using Regal Rose, & Chocolate Chip, then cut it out, added a gold brad & adhered it on the flower center. The sentiment is stamped in Regal Rose. I also added Regal Rose Wide Grosgrain ribbon. This card went together quickly, & I love the result.
Be sure to check out Stampinup.com for this June product promotion. Thanks for visiting.
